We generally only send electronic marketing - such as email marketing - to people who have previously bought similar products from us and this is in our legitimate interests. Right to withdraw your consent (opt out): If you have declared your consent regarding certain collecting, processing and use of your personal data (in particular, regarding the receipt of direct marketing communication via email, telephone/SMS and postal), you can withdraw this consent at any time with immediate effect. Such a withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the consent withdrawal. Please contact us to withdraw your consent. Further, you can object to the use of your personal data for the purposes of marketing without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs in accordance with the basic tariffs.

Additional data privacy rights: Pursuant to applicable data protection law, you have the following rights:

  • To request access to your personal data: to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and, where that is the case, to request access to the personal data. You may have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data undergoing processing free of charge. For further copies requested by you, we may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.

DATA RETENTION

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

In some circumstances we may anonymize your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

For example, access to your personal data is strictly limited to our data controller, data processer, data protection officer who needs access to such data to perform their assigned job duties. We have built up a recovery system to prevent your data from destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure caused by automatic technology.

It is important that you take precautions to protect against unauthorized access to your account credentials, and computer or other devices. “personal data breach” means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed. We will investigate any complaint and notify the individual of the outcome of the investigation within a reasonable period.

COOKIES & HOW WE USE THEM

We use cookies to collect or log certain information. A cookie is a small piece of information that a Site stores on a personal computer and which it can later retrieve. We may use cookies for some administrative purposes, for example, to store our customers’ preferences for certain kinds of products. The cookies will not contain personal data that will enable anyone to contact our customers via telephone, email, or other means. Certain services, however, could be dependent on cookies and our customers may disable those services by refusing cookies.

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.

You can randomly manage and/or delete these cookies. You can delete all of the cookies stored on your computer and you can set up most browsers in such a manner that the archiving of cookies is prevented in the first place. However, if you do this, you may have to manually adjust some settings every time you visit and live with the impairment of some of the functions.
